Star Knowledge introduces SharePoint 2010

CBR Staff Writer Published 07 September 2010

Enables organisations to connect people, and to manage content throughout the information lifecycle

Star Knowledge Technology Alliance Team (Star Knowledge), a provider of software services and offerings, has extended their SharePoint Services and Solution Group with the introduction of SharePoint 2010.

The new business collaboration platform allows organisations to connect people through formal and informal business communities and processes, within the enterprise and beyond, and to manage content throughout the information lifecycle.

The company said that the new platform can be deployed on-premises or as hosted services.

In addition, its integrated capabilities are enhanced by search technologies, that enable users to respond to changing business needs by enabling and supporting knowledge-driven decisions and deploying customised offerings quickly and securely.

Star Knowledge chairman Kevin O'Sullivan said that with the 2010 release, SharePoint has evolved into the foremost productivity-centric platform in the marketplace.

"Given the pervasive use of Microsoft Office at the desktop, it's not unexpected to see SharePoint emerging as the productivity tool of choice and a best practice for successful companies," O'Sullivan said.
