To expand its ECM offering and deliver cost savings
NEC, a provider of innovative IT, network and communications products and offerings, has entered into partner program with the Alfresco System Integrator, a provider of open source enterprise content management (ECM), to expand its Enterprise Content Management (ECM) offering.
Under the partnership, NEC will expand its offering and deliver cost savings to its customers by combining its market knowledge, technical expertise and proven application integration experience with the benefits Alfresco's open source software.
Minoru Mukai, vice president of IT Solutions at NEC, said: "This relationship will enhance our capabilities in offering quality ECM solutions to our clients.
"The open platform and flexible subscription model make Alfresco an ideal solution for many of our small- and medium-size business clients. We will now be able to offer a cost-effective ECM solution to customers that have previously shied away from the costly, traditional ECM solutions."
