Method123 unveils new change management process project template

Method123, a provider of online project management software, has unveiled the Change Management Process, a new template offering, which will be a part of their Project Management Template offering.

The new template is used to define the project scope, project management, how change will be requested and initiated, how the change requests will be documented and approved, and how change on projects will be implemented.

The company said that the new change management process manages the overall scope for the project, identify potential needs for change requests, create and track change requests to send to the customer, and control how change requests are documented.

The new template also manages the change approval process and also manages the overall change process and implementation of the approved change.

It consists detailed instructions to help inexperienced managers complete the documentation, and its pre-filled in sections and charts enhance the usability of this full featured template.

Method123 president and CEO Jason Westland said that the organisation that is not ready to handle change on their projects is going to see high percentages of their projects go over budget and way off schedule due to unchecked scope creep.
