LogLogic launches new offering for IT data management

CBR Staff Writer Published 16 August 2010

Enables firms operate secure IT infrastructures within a compliance

LogLogic has launched LogLogic 5 product suite for centralising and structuring IT data, which offers IT professionals with insight into their operations, security stance or compliance profile.

The company said that its new suite allows enterprises to operate secure, efficient IT infrastructures within a compliance or framework with enhanced visibility and control.

LogLogic 5 features a universal collection framework (UCF), a WAN-aware, store-and-forward, encrypted, compressed IT data transport, which allows customers to gather IT data, increase resilience, reduce network chatter and encrypt from devices.

The offering also includes data description technology, log labels, which allows text-based data to be structured, masking the intricacies of log or flow data.

In addition, the new suite also includes user-centric interface that reduces remediation, discovery and management time with a workflow ontology.

The company claims that its users can now streamline their IT data collection and analysis processes by leveraging LogLogic 5 as central IT data management engine across devices, analytics agents and deployment options.

LogLogic CEO Guy Churchward said that LogLogic 5 will enable 360 Insight, allowing companies to establish a streamlined approach for managing all of their IT data across all devices, regardless of whether they're physical, virtual or cloud based.
