Enables organisations to apply enterprise standards for retention and business compliance to web content
FatWire Software has launched FatWire Content Integration Platform 2.0 for EMC Documentum enterprise content management, which enables organisations to apply enterprise standards for retention and business compliance to web content.
The company claims that FatWire Content Integration Platform 2.0 enables multiple valuable integrations with Documentum; CIP enables FatWire Content Server users to access media and traditional content stored in Documentum for publishing on the web.
According to FatWire, Content Integration Platform 2.0 (CIP 2.0) enables organisations to copy the content automatically from FatWire to Documentum for retention and retrieval purposes; and Documentum users can retrieve web content via their familiar query and search tools.
The company said that with CIP 2.0, published content, user-generated content, metadata, and renditions used on FatWire websites are copied to Documentum; and a workflow is triggered in Documentum to apply the appropriate transformation and retention policies to this content.
Yogesh Gupta, president and CEO of FatWire, said: "FatWire is committed to continuously developing innovative products that help our clients manage the online experience and use the web to drive value for their businesses.
"FatWire Content Integration Platform 2.0 is a strong validation of our ability to quickly execute on our partnership with EMC, and demonstrates our commitment to meeting the aggressive goals we set for our product deliverables."
