INetU, a managed hosting provider, has entered into a partnership with EdgeCast Networks to power it new content delivery services.

The agreement opens EdgeCast's content delivery network to INetU clients, enabling its customers to deploy web applications, site content and media streams via any of EdgeCast's sixteen points of presence around the world.

Under the new relationship, INetU clients can benefit from edge storage and caching, and ensure high-speed delivery of their content by serving their content directly from any of EdgeCast's points of origin in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

James Segil, president of EdgeCast Networks, said: EdgeCast and INetU have something very important in common, and that is a culture of commitment to going above and beyond for every customer.
